Identification of the serum group from the stains may be of a great significance in the course of crime investigation. A review of world wide literature indicates that a few studies were made on this subject. In this study, the haptoglobin types were identified from the blood stains kept under Korea summer climate. Hp typing was performed by disc. electrophoresis method. The result can be summarized in the following:
1. The maximum time lapse of blood stains, which enable the identification possible, varies with various conditions as shown in the table.
