For all types of manuscripts
- □ The manuscript has been typed in 10-point font with 200% spacing (double-spacing) and margins of at least 2.5cm.
- □ The manuscript is submitted in English, in Microsoft Word format (doc, docx).
- □ The pages have been consecutively numbered from the Title page, at the bottom center of the page.
- □ The Title page includes 1) the full title of the manuscript, 2) full name and affiliation of each author, 3) running title of no more than 40 characters, 4) contact information of the corresponding
author, and 5) ORCID information of all authors.
- □ (For human or animal studies) Affirmation that the study was approved by the appropriate institutional review board (IRB) with relevant reference numbers and dates.
- □ All measurements have been described in appropriate units (CGS system, International System of Units).
- □ The references are formatted in Vancouver style.
- □ All tables and figures have been cited in the text.
- □ All tables are on separate pages.
- □ The figure legends are on a separate page, and written in present tense.
- □ All figures are submitted as separate files, in TIFF, BMP, JPEG or PPT/PPTX format, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
- □ The Author Contribution information has been listed.
- □ Funding information has been provided (if applicable).
- □ The Copyright Transfer Form has been completed and signed by all authors.
Original articles
- □ The Abstract is not more than 250 words, and is structured as Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- □ 3~5 Key words are listed in MeSH terms.
Case studies
- □ The Abstract is not more than 150 words.
- □ 3~5 Key words are listed in MeSH terms.
Letters to the Editor
- □ The entire manuscript does not exceed two pages of A4-sized paper.
