Abstract PDF: Eccrine syringofibroadenoma is an uncommon benign eccrine tumor, which was first described by Mascaro in 1963. It usually develops on the extremeties of elderly persons. Recently we experienceda case of eccrine syringofibroadenoma that occured in a 38-year-old woman. She presentedus an asymptomatic solitary reddish nodular plaque with a verrucous surface, whichshe'd had on her right arm for three months. Histologically, slender anastomosing epithelial cellcords with focal luminal differentiation resembling duct structures were embedded in a fibrovascularstroma. The net-like pattern of epithelial cells resembled that seen in fibroepithelioma.
