Chronic Ulcerative Colitic -3 cases report-
ABSTRACT
The chronic ulcerative colitis is a relatively common discase in the European and North American countries.
In Korea, however this disease is a rare entity, and only a few case reports have been reported.
In the past 6 years, we have experienced three cases of chronic ulcerative colitis, which were diagnosed by the histopathological examinations of the resected colon specimens. They were respectively 32 years old male, 34 years old female and 49 years old male. Detailed clinical histories and pathological findings were described on each of these cases.
A brief review of literature on this entity was performed.
