Hemangioma of the ovary is a very rare lesion, although ovarian tissue has high vascularity. In a review of the literature, about 30 such tumors were reported previously. The incidence appears higher in the group younger than 30(62%). Cavernous hemangioma was the most common type. The incidental finding of a cavernous hemangioma of the ovary in a 47-year-old woman is reported.
